Azerbaijan Social-Democratic Party planning to hold plenum to define candidate for presidency

He noted that during the plenum the party will discuss the party candidacy for presidency.

"We are now actively preparing for the plenum. We decide what should we do with the candidacy from the party for presidential elections, permanently consult with Ayaz Mutallibov. Unfortunately, there has not been any clarification in the issue of his return to Azerbaijan", said the party leader.

As for the possibility of Mutallibov's becoming the party chairman, Alizade said the following:

"It is impossible to state his 100% victory in struggle for the post of the chairman.

There are other worthy candidates for the post of a chairman in the Social-Democratic Party, so the session delegates will have a choice among the alternative candidates", said Araz Alizade.
