Center of Democratic Elections demands to change composition of election commissions

He noted that the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation, as well as party's participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

"The Center of Democratic Elections has released a statement, fixing that in the current situation it is difficult to organize democratic elections, as it requires reforms, among which to ensure observation of the law "On Freedom of Assembly", reconsider the recent amendments to the Electoral Code, provide for the balanced formation of the election commissions.

Equal conditions for candidates will be created only in this case", noted he.

Ahmed Oruj also added that the session participants decided to coordinate actions of the parties, intending to nominate their candidate for presidential elections.

It should be noted that the Center of Democratic Elections includes Azerbaijan Classical Popular Front Party, Great creation party, Single Popular Front Party, Great Azerbaijan party, Tekkamul party, Azadlyg party and Open Society party.
