US-Azerbaijani military exercises to be held in Azerbaijan

The US-Azerbaijani military exercises will be held in Azerbaijan in 2009 in the framework of bilateral cooperation, said spokesman for Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroghlu.
He noted that the exercises will be similar to those, currently held in Georgia.

"The exercises will be organized by Azerbaijan and the United States. Azerbaijan will be able to invite other countries if it wants", said Sabiroghlu.
