Political scientist Levon Melik-Shakhnazaryan: "Participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair in the military parade in Baku is a diplomatic ignorance"

The military parade dated to the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijani armed forces was held in Baku on June 26.

"The military parade in Baku was an attempt to demonstrate power and pressure on mediators and countries, interested in tranquility in the region. No one in Azerbaijan concealed it", noted Melik-Shahnazaryan, adding that the demonstrated might was "seeming".

According to the expert, the external political organizations of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh should have demanded from Bernard Fassier to explain "what he wanted to see or learn from the parade and how his presence there influenced his mediatory activity".
