Azerbaijan Democratic Party offers to opposition and authorities to coordinate activity in combat with corruption

A regular session of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party was held today, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
As is reported, the session was held with participation of the representatives of Baku organizations of the party.

The session participants discussed the established sociopolitical situation and exchanged views on events, occurring in the country and the world.

The party offers to implement a number of measures in the sphere of combat with corruption. In particular, the party recommends to the opposition and authorities to coordinate activity for combat with corruption. In the near future, the political structure will send appeal on the said issue to the President.

The session participants discussed the session of the G-8 leaders held in Japan. The party considers discussion of the issue of growing political crisis in the world and definition of main strategies in this direction to be important. For further development of Azerbaijan this will be of great importance.

The session participants also discussed the party's participation in the upcoming presidential elections, based on the opinion of the Baku regional organizations and decided that the talks will continue until the session of Supreme Medjlis to be held on August 1. The party activists were also instructed to prepare the tactics of participation in the elections by that time.
