08 July 2008 [15:46] - TODAY.AZ
The Liberal-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan will send a protest to the Central Election Commission, said party chairman Fuad Aliyev.
He said the protest is connected with the absence of the names of the party activists in the lists of voters, posted on the official website of the Central Election Commission.

The appeal is expected to be sent in the coming days.

"As soon as the lists appeared in the internet on the official website of the central election commission, we immediately started to check the names of our members. This process was fast in the regional organizations and in the result we revealed that names of most of the party members, residing in Masally, Tovuz, Khachmaz and Lenkoran.

We do not intend to accept it and we plan to send an appeal to the Central Election Commission with a request to correct this obvious misunderstanding", announced Fuad Aliyev.
