Ilham Aliyev: "Azerbaijan's external policy on Karabakh issue should be attacking"

Azerbaijan's external policy regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh should be attacking, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev speaking at the third session of the heads of Azerbaijani diplomatic missions, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports with reference to the Azerbaijan state television.

The head of state stressed the need to expose occupational policy of Armenia on all levels.

He called information of the world community about the truth of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict to be one of the major tasks of Azerbaijani ambassadors.

Stressed great progress, attained in this direction. The President noted that Azerbaijan's territorial integrity is supported on all levels, international organizations support resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict only in the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

I.Aliyev said such position is connected with norms of international law, historical realities and constantly growing influence of Azerbaijan in the international political arena.

As for the global energy projects, implemented by Azerbaijan and contributing to world energy security, the head of state noted the growing prestige of Azerbaijan not only in the region, but also throughout the world.

Speaking about main priorities of Azerbaijan's external course, I.Aliyev noted that Azerbaijani diplomats are responsible for its successful implementation.

For these purpose, according to the heads of state, Azerbaijani diplomats, should establish close contacts with state structures in the countries, where they represent our state, seriously work for presenting truthful information about Azerbaijan, protect both political and economic interests of the country.

I.Aliyev also voiced his ideas, regarding other tasks, facing the Azerbaijani diplomats and gave due instructions.
