Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan announced that talks on the resolution of the Karabakh problem are held in line with three basic principles of OSCE.
"Talks are held in line with the basic principles of OSCE-second article of the Final Act in Helsinki, insisting on non-application of force, fourth article, supporting territorial integrity and eighth article, envisioning right for self-determination", announced Edward Nalbandyan during a joint press conference with his Czech counterpart Karel Swarztenberg.
He said the position of the world community and especially the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs (Russia, USA and France) in this issue was clearly expressed during discussion of the Azerbaijan-initiated resolution in the UN General Assembly in March.
"The co-chairs voted against the resolution and the European Union did not support it, abstaining from voting as it was a unilateral project, which spoke only of territorial integrity", noted Nalbandyan.
