President of Azerbaijan ended his visit to Kazakhstan, where he took part in festivities on the 10th anniversary of the country's capital Astana.

According to AzerTac, in the framework of the visit to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with king of Jordan Abdallah the second.

The meeting participants were pleased with expansion of the Azerbaijan-Jordan relations and noted that cooperation between the two countries has good prospects.

It was stressed that the friendly relations between President of Azerbaijan and King of Jordan contribute to the expansion of ties between the two countries. During the conversation the sides stressed importance of the meetings on the high level and expressed confidence about the further strengthening of mutual relaitons.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Astana with Turkey President Abdullah Gul.

The sides noted that friendly and brother relations between the two countries are constantly developing in all sphere. They underlined that Azerbaijan and Turkey cooperate on the high level in international organization.

The sides voiced confidence about further development of relations. The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.

Ilham Aliyev, taking part in the festivities on the 10th anniversary of Astana, ended his visit on Sunday.

At the Astana international airport, the Azerbaijani leader was seen of by senior Kazakh officials.

Later the same day, President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Baku, and was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Chief of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visiting Kazakhstan is taking part in the festivities on the 10th anniversary of the capital of this country - Astana.

The festivitites on the 10th anniversary of Astana, are attended by the leaders of the following states: Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Russia Dmitri Medvedev, Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili,  Turkmenistan Qurbanquli Berdimukhammedov, Turkey Abdulla Gul and king of Jordan Abdallah the second. On Saturday President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev demonstrated a number of new establishments, built ion the Kazakh capital, including the Palace of Independence, Palace of Peace and Accord and Kazakhstan statehood monument to the visitors.

During the visit, the leaders could not only see new establishments but also communicate in the informal atmosphere.

Nazarbayev opened Kazak yeli monument with participation of foreign guests on Sunday.

This is the first monumental memorial, devoted to the historical fate of Kazakh people. It is 91 meters in height. By the idea of the authors- architect Samatbek Bokebay and painter Sembigali Smaqulov, it symbolizes the decisive year of 1991, when Kazakhstan gained independence.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived on a working visit to Kazakhstan on Saturday to attend festivities to mark the 10th anniversary of Kazakh capital of Astana.

The Head of State was warmly welcomed at the Astana airport by Kazakh top officials.
Azerbaijani Leader headed from the airport to his temporary residence.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has left for Astana (Kazakhstan) today.

Novosti-Azerbaijan reports with reference to the press secretariat of the Azerbaijani President, I.Aliyev will take part in the events on the 10th anniversary of the Kazakh capital.

An informal summit of the heads of states to discuss wide range of issues, including energy issues, will be held in the Kazakh capital in the framework of jubilee events. Heads of many states were invited for participation in the summit and over 3,000 visitors for participation in the festivities.

Presidents of Turkey, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as king of Jordan will arrive in Astana.

According to Kazakh ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov, the heads of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey will discuss Nabucco project. "Kazakhstan speaks for numerous directions in everything including in economy, therefore, is ready to join Nabucco project, in case it is economically profitable", said the ambassador.

Primbetov noted that stability of transportations, tariffs and volumes are important for Kazakhstan.
