Hungarian Prime Minister to visit Azerbaijan

Next week Hungarian Prime Minister Ferents Durchan will visit Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan next week.
Day.Az reports with reference to Hungarian News that the main topic of the meetings of the Hungarian Premier will be the energy cooperation and Nabucco project.

It should be reminded that Nabucco project involves Turkish Botas, Bulgarian Bulgargaz, Romanian Transgaz S.A., Hungarian MOL, Austrian OMV Gas International Gmbh and German RWE (each having 16.67% share).

The project envisions supplies of Azerbaijani and Central Asian gas from Turkey via Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary to Ausria. Construction of the 3,300 km gas pipeline will be launched in 2008. The pipeline is planned to be launched in 2013.
