NATO to assist in preparation of strategic defense review on Azerbaijan

"We have recently adopted the concept of national security and military doctrine is ready for adoption", he told reporters on Tuesday in the framework of the aforementioned event.

As for the preparation of the strategic defense review, Khasiyev said:

"There are definite conceptual documents in the security spherel, all systems in the sphere of security, all defense structures, powers, means are analyzed and definite tasks are set in line with this concept.

He said assistance with methodology of document preparation is provided by NATO.

"We strive to adhere to the most advanced standards. This is one them", said Khasiyev.
