Armenian Defense Minister: "We hope for the return of Armenians, captured by Azerbaijanis"

He said Armenia can also say that Azerbaijani captives also intended to commit diversion. Oganyan noted that due work is carried out for the settlement of this issue and the soonest liberation of the captives.

"Being head of the State Commission on issues of hostages, captives and missing people, during a meeting with head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Armenia I asked him to take actions for return of our citizens".

The Defense Minister informed that Azerbaijani side initially voiced readiness to return the captives, but later they changed their mind and started to linger the term of the return. In turn, the Minister voiced confidence that captives will be returned.
