Azerbaijan National Independence Party to hold session before the start of presidential elections

The Azerbaijan National Independence Party has internal differences on the participation in the upcoming presidential elections, said spokesman for the party on the issues of press and agitation Ali Oryujev.

He said the format of the party's participation in the elections is not known yet, though the party intends to participate in the elections.

"Currently, some supporters consider it necessary to join the process. Others think differently.

Despite existing gaps, I think any political structure should join the pre-election processes, for if the party stays aside from this process, it can create certain provlems.

If the parties join their efforts to change the political situation, it would be necessary to introduce additional amendments to the Electoral Code", noted he.

The spokesman for the party also added that the date of the session will be specified before the presidential elections start.
