Mubariz Qurbanly: "The protesting electorate in Azerbaijan makes 12-15%"

"It is not known so far who will take part in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan", said deputy executive secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan party Mubariz Qurbanli, Milli Medjlis deputy.

He said when the list of candidates is made public, the party will initiate active struggle on the basis of the law.

"The party considers that our candidate will be supported by most voters and his victory if inevitable, as much is done for Azerbaijan, people's welfare is growing, positions on the international arena is strengthening and our country is a leader in the Caucasus. It all promotes support to our candidate.

As to the chances of the opposition during election, the protesting electorate in the country makes 12-15%. These votes will be distributed between three and more candidates from opposition", noted he.

Speaking about party's preparations for the upcoming presidential elections, Qurbanly said a program of participation has been prepared.

Following elections each party will have to prepare for the next elections. Our political structure is actively preparing for the upcoming presidential elections. The program reflects all actions of the party, which they are going to undertake.

Meetings with populations, rallies, steps to propagandize platform of our candidates will be arranged on the spots. The candidate from our party, working president Ilham Aliyev will join all events during the election campaign", said Qurbanly.

He announced that the date of the next session of the Yeni Azerbaijan party has not been defined yet.
