90th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic to be marked on the state level

The government official said that according to President Ilham Aliyev’s executive order on the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic, special conferences and meetings will be held in educational, scientific and cultural establishments.

"Ministries of Education, Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will organize scientific-practical conference on the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic on May 26.

Concert will also be organized in Philharmonic Society on the occasion of the jubilee," he said.

Ali Hasanov said the parliament would hold a special meeting on the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic. An event will also be organized in Gulustan Palace with participation of Azerbaijani president.

"Concert and other events are planned to be held in the National Park on May 28," he said.

Ali Hasanov said jubilee events would continue in the higher schools, educational establishments on May 28-30.

The government official also noted that pardon decree or amnesty act was not expected in connection with the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan People’s Republic.
