European Court of Human Rights initiate proceedings in Ali Insanov's case

The European Court of Human Rights has initiated a proceeding in the case of the foreign Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov, Day.Az reports with reference with ANS-Press.
According to Insanov's defender Toghrul Babayev, thus says the appeal received from the European Court.

It should be noted that on January 16, the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Appellate Court, passed regarding the former minister of health. Insanov was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment with property confiscation. The Baku Appellate Court upheld the decision. The former minister is serving his term in correctional ward No 13.
