Armenians opens information tourism center in Shusha

The information center of art, crafts and tourism opened in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha, occupied by Armenians.
According to  Nare Aramyan, assistant chief of the Fund "Shusha's Resurrection", the center is intended for provision of complete information about the self-declared "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" to tourists, visiting the country, in particular, Shusha.

"The center opening will fill the information gap of the tourists, visiting Nagorno Karabakh", Aramyan noted and added that such a structure exists in all the civilian countries of the world for the purpose of tourism development.

She said, the ancient city of Shusha, with it rich traditions, needs not only restoration b ut investment for its further development. "Various culture events will be arranged for tourists in the center", said Aramyan.

In turn, chief executive of the fund Grigory Ovannissyan declared future plans to create archive of books and documents in the center and to turn the surrounding areas into a resort zone.
