Newly appointed ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan arrives

Ukraine's newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk arrived to the capital of Azerbaijan for fulfillment of his diplomatic mission on May 7.
The due announcement was made by the press service for the Ukrainian embassy, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The embassy reports that the ambassador will soon hand copies of credentials to Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov.

Moreover, Klimchuk is expected to be received by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to receive his credentials.

After that  Klimchuk will start fulfillment of his diplomatic mission.

It should be noted that Boris Klimchuk is the fourth ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan. Before him the post was occupied by Stepan Volkovetski, who left the country due to the completion of his mission.

In this connection on April 15, Ukraine ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Stepan Volkovetski was received by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. During the meeting the head of state noted that in period of diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan, the ambassador contributed to the development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence about the further expansion of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations.
