Ramiz Mehtiyev: "Amendments regarding reduction of term of election campaign have not been introduced to the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan"

According to Day.Az, the due announcement was made by head of Azerbaijan Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehtiyev.

Touching upon proposals of the representatives of the ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan about cutting the election campaign from four to two months, Mehtiyev announced that exchange of views on this issue has not been held in the presidential administration.

"But I do know that some deputies, representatives of the parties make such proposals in mass medias. The parliament will pass decision and everything will depend on it. But we have not introduced amendments on the said issue to the Electoral Code", said he.
