Azerbaijan's Democratic Party urges to expand agrarian sector

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the party that the said statement was made at the recent session of the party.

The political structure considers that the recent amendments to the state budget for 2008, adopted at the recent session of Milli Medhjlis do not reflect present day realities.

THe party activists consider that insignificant funds were allocated from the state budget for social and economic problems, while great amounts were assigned for the development of construction sector.

The Democratic Party considers that such economic policy will bring nothing positive to the country.

The party representatives call on the government to expand the agrarian sector and allocate additional funds for the purpose.
