Armenian President: "People of Nagorno Karabakh have deserved the right for free and independent life"

The due announcement was made by Armenian President Serzh Sarkissyan.

According to the press service for the President of Armenia, he made the statement during the discussion of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and periodically voiced "militaristic announcements of Azerbaijan" with Bulgarian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Armenia Todor Staikov.

"Armenia and Azerbaijan, being members of the Council of Europe, are bound to settle all disputable issues only peacefully", Sarkissyan said.

At the same time, he noted that "it is impossible to ignore the natural right of people of Nagorno Karabakh for self-determination".
