Ramiz Mehtiyev: "Arrests of reporters in Azerbaijan are not politically motivated"

The due announcement was made by Ramiz Mehtiyev, head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan.

"They were brought to responsibility in the court and will have to settle their issues via the court", said he.

Currently, the editor-in-chief of Realny Azerbaijan and Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Eynulla Fatullayev, editor-in-chief of Azadlyg opposition newspaper Ganimat Zahid and his brother, Azadlyg correspondent Mirza Sakit are currently in prison charged under different articles.
