Acting Secretary of Russian security council: "There haven't been any violations during transportation of Russian cargo for Iran via Azerbaijan"

Valentin Sobolev, acting secretary of the Russian Security Council, visiting Iran commented on the detention of Russian cargo, destined for construction of NPP in Bushehr on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border.
"By the information, Russia and Iran have, there have not been any violations during transportation of Russian equipment via Azerbaijan", said Sobolev.

"The due customs bodies and Foreign Ministries undertake all necessary measures to settle the problem", he added.

Valentin Sobolev has arrived to Tehran to hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Saed Jalili. One of the main tasks of Sobolev's visit to Iran is the improvement of Russian-Iranian relations in the sphere of nuclear cooperation, primarily the situation around reactor construction in Bushehr".
