Khazar Ibrahim: "Azerbaijan demands from Russia to provide full information about cargo, which is transited via its territory"

The due announcement was made by Khazar Ibrahim, spokesman for the Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, commenting on detention of Russian cargo, destined for Bushehr NPP, on the Iranian border.

"If Azerbaijan gets due document, it will undertake due steps on the basis of the national legislation and international rules. The information about whom the cargo belong to and where it is supplied, is not a complete information about the cargo", said Ibrahim.

At the same time, the spokesman voiced confidence that our country will get complete information about the cargo and this issue will be settled.

He said Russian side should provide due information via its embassy in Azerbaijan, as Azerbaijan appealed to Russia via this very embassy.
