Armenian Defense Minister: "We should be ready for renewal of hostilities in the Karabakh conflict area"

The due announcement was made by Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Oganyan.

"I am heading the Ministry, which should always be ready for possible renewal of war so that this war would never be", he told reporters.

The Ministry noted that today Armenia preserves balance of powers by means of quality changes within its army in conditions of "neither war nor peace".

Speaking about the influence of the internal political situation on the conflict resolution, Oganyan said that the settlement proceeds in the framework of planned measures but the internal situation has already affected the country's image.
