Bloc co-chairman Ali Aliyev told Day.Az that during the session the participants discussed situation in Azerbaijan before the presidential elections.
"Next week we plan to hold an expanded session to discuss the further steps of the bloc.
Currently the Azadlyg bloc has not taken a final decision regarding boycott of presidential elections. This issue is in process of discussions, as no changes have been introduced to the Electoral Code of the country and the law "On Freedom of Assembly" has not been discussed. As soon as this strategic issue are settled, we will voice our position", he noted.
Touching upon the talks with the Azerbaijan National Independence Party, which also voices opinion regarding boycott, the bloc co-chairman noted that this issue is not being discussed yet.
"Only the Open Society Party speaks about boycott in open but we do not hold talks with this structure", said Aliyev.
