Tereggi party starts meetings with population in Azerbaijani regions

He noted that the party is preparing in this direction and holds meeting with population in the regions.

"The recent meeting was held in Sabirabad. The representatives of ATA bloc and Tereggi party activists voiced intention for party's participation in the presidential elections with its candidate. They all want my candidacy to be nominated at the elections.

Yet I am thinking over this issue, as I think that presidential elections is a serious process and demands special attention.

An official registration of candidates will start in June. When elections are officially launched we will be able to settle this issue. At the same time, we have a version of nominating a reserve candidate", said Damiroghlu.

The party chairman also added that if someone of the party wants to participate in presidential elections, he is ready to give his place.
