Siyavush Novruzov: "It is necessary to raise the state-allocated amount for candidates to President"

The due announcement was made by deputy executive secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan party Siyavush Novruzov.

He said the said reform meets the current demands.

"There is a certain norm, allocated for the candidates for participation in the elections. I think, it is necessary to take into account two main tendencies while introducing amendments to the Electoral Code.

First, it is necessary to raise the state-allocated amount for candidates to president. Second, it is necessary to reduce the election campaign period from four to two months. If these requirements are taken into account, there would be no problems", said he.
