Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Netherlands hold consultations

Consultations were held in Baku between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Netherlands.
The due announcement was made by the press service for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

By the information, Marianne de Kwaastenietin, general director on issues of European Cooperation of the Foreign Ministry of Netherlands, arrived in Baku for the purpose.

In the framework of the visit she met with deputies Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mamedkuliyev and Araz Azimov.

During the meetings, the delegation displayed interest in the processes, ongoing in Azerbaijan, political and economic situation in the region, negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia in connection with Nagorno Karabakh conflict and prospects of cooperation in different spheres.

The visitors noted that the Holland companies display a special interest to Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani side informed the visitors about the priorities of external policy, steps undertaken in the sphere of European integration and forthcoming tasks and economic development.

Moreover, the delegation from Netherlands held a meeting in the Ministry of Industry and Energy and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
