Two activists detained in front of US Embassy to Azerbaijan during protest arranged by Muasit Musavat party

Party chairman Hafiz Hajiyev told Day.Az that the protest involved about 55 people.

"The party highly assesses the picket as we were able to read the resolution and present it to the US Embassy. At the same time, it should be noted that two party activists were detailed by the police.

These are Faraj Aliyev, deputy chairman of the party, and Sevda Gasimova, representative of the steering committee of the party.

We have already contacted with the district police station and were informed that they will soon be released", Hajiyev said.

The party chairman noted that the next protest will be held in front of the Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan.
