Azerbaijan's representative to NATO: "NATO declaration supporting conflicts settlement on basis of territorial integrity and state sovereignty is of historical importance"

"Article 43 of the declaration of the NATO summit reads: "We are concerned over the continuation of regional conflicts in the South Caucasus and Moldova. Our countries recognize territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova. We will continue supporting efforts, aimed at the peaceful resolution of these regional conflict on basis of the aforementioned principles".

He said for the first time NATO supported the conflicts settlement in the region on basis of principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of the countries , demonstrating its principal position on recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

"This decision is of historical importance", said he.
