Iskender Hamidov: "I don't want to deceive people anymore, therefore, I am quitting the political arena"

He told Day.Az that he does not want to deceive people anymore.

"I have been in the politics for already 20 years and so many events had happened through this period. This year I am celebrating my 60th jubilee therefore I would not want to deceive people anymore and promise them something Utopian. I have been in Mecca, therefore, I don't like to lie, this is not peculiar of me.

Moreover, I am going to write a book about general political events in the country. I recommend my companions to follow my decision and let the young generation go ahead", Hamidov said.

He said he is not dealing with political processes anymore.

"Now let my companions define the date of the next session and choose a chairman for themselves. I empower them with the party work", the chairman said.
