The opposition Party of Civil Development, functioning in Azerbaijan, is preparing due documents to file a claim against the Baku city administration, said party chairman Ali Aliyev.
He said the reason is Baku city administration's refusal to allocate a site for construction of the office of the political structure.

"We are currently collecting due information to prove our right. The party activists have learned recently that the municipalities do not have a rights to sell or lend lands. On par with it, we have been informed that this is a competence of the city administration.

At the same time, the lawyers recommend us to obtain reliable facts and file a claim to the court on their basis. Otherwise, we will not prove our right", the party chairman said.

Asked whether the party is in search of a headquarters, Aliyev added that the said issue has always been on the agenda.

"The party is looking for an office to be its headquarters on par with collecting information to file a claim in the court. If we cope with it, we will obtain an office from our own funds", he noted.
