Mubariz Gurbanly: "After missile defense system is dislocated in Eastern Europe, Russia's proposal on the joint use of Qabala radar station will be removed from the agenda"

The due announcement was made by MP Mubariz Gurbanly, deputy executive secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan Party, Day.Az reports.

He noted that Russia's proposal on joint use of Qabala radar station with the United States, was an alternative to the missile defense system in Eastern Europe.

"Azerbaijan, like the whole South Caucasus, is a favorable place for dislocation of missile defense systems. Yet, the policy of Azerbaijan contains the principle of non-dislocation of foreign military bases in its territory. Azerbaijan will not agree to dislocate foreign military bases on its territory and the President has repeatedly said that", Gurbanly noted.
