15 years pass since the occupation of Kalbajar by Armenian Armed Forces.

APA reports that on March 27, 1993, the large-scale attack initiated by the military units of Armenia resulted in the occupation of Kalbajar region.
As a result of the occupation, 55 servicemen and about 250 civilians were killed, 321 were taken captive. 130 settlements went into the control of Armenians, 97 schools, 9 kindergartens, 116 libraries, 43 clubs, 42 cultural houses, 9 hospitals were destroyed, and 52 people were displaced. 2.185 sq km territory of Kalbajar is still under Armenian control.
As a result of the occupation of Kalbajar, Azerbaijan’s budget lost 703.5bn. manats.
