Saida Gojamanly: "Only few out of 30 political prisoners on the presented list have been pardoned"

Saida Gojamanly, head of the Bureau of Human Rights and Law Observance, said only few out of 30 people on the list of political prisoners, developed by Azerbaijan's Monitoring Group of Human Rights Organizations, have been pardoned.

Saida Gojamanly considers that following the current decree of pardon PACE will inevitably undertake restoration of the institute of a special rapporteur on political prisoners in Azerbaijan.
