Jonathan Henick: "Our policy on imprisoned reporters has not changed"

"We do not yet know the details of the pardon decree, but if it contains the names of political prisoners, this is a positive moment".
The due announcement was made by chief of public relations department of the US Embassy to Azerbaijan Jonathan Henick.

Touching upon the non-inclusion of the names of three imprisoned reporters to the list of pardoned, Henick said their policy towards the arrested reporters has not changed.

"We consider that reporters should not be arrested for their professional activity", J.Henick said.
