The youth organizations of Azerbaijan's opposition parties, represented in an informal coalition "Biz", have put off the protest, planned to be held this week.
Chairman of the Musavat party youth organization Tural Abbasly told Day.Az that the action was put off by a number of technical reasons.
"Though the action has not taken place, the youth organizations plan to arrange mass meetings with the young generation before Novruz holiday. The issue must be settled this week.
The meetings will be arranged in the Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
The main purpose of such arrangements is to raise the political activeness of the young generation", he noted.
Tural Abbasly also added that the talks with youth organizations of a number of opposition parties are under way along with the preparations for the actions. In particular, with Adalyat party, Public Forum "In the name of Azerbaijan", headed by Eldar Namazov and Social-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that coalition "Biz" includes the youth organizations of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Classical Popular Front Party, Musavat, Party of Citizens and Development and Azerbaijan Popular Front Party.
