Matthew Bryza meets with members of Public Committee for Karabakh conflict settlement

The due announcement was made by Arzu Abdullayeva, chairman of the Azerbaijani National Committee of the Helsinki Civil Assembly.

She said the meeting was also attended by US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse.

Abdullayeva noted that during the meeting the sides discussed Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, dislocation of Azerbaijani peacekeeping forces in Kosovo", the human rights activist said.

She noted that the current situation in Armenia and its influence on the Karabakh conflict, as well as yesterday's intensive violation of ceasefire by Armenians, were also discussed.

She noted that during the meeting M.Bryza stressed the necessity to conduct such meetings.
