Anar Mamedkhanov: "It was vitally important for Kocharyan and Sarkisyan, who committed massacres against their own people, to start provocations on the front line"

05 March 2008 [10:39] - TODAY.AZ
"It is clear that following repetition of Andijan events in Yerevan, which ended for Uzbek officials in not being allowed to the European Union, to distract attention from massacres committed by Kocharyan and Sarkisyan against their own people, it was vitally important for them to start provocations on the front line".

The due announcement was made by MP Anar Mamedkhanov commenting on the fight on the front line between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The deputy considers that this is the obvious truth, which can not be perceived by only retarded infants.

"The whole world blames the events in Yerevan. Naturally, the Armenian community has split, as over 500,000 people arranged demonstrations. Tens of casualties were reported. Naturally, there is an informational vacuum and nobody has a right to publish unofficial data within 20 days. In such conditions they decided to start provocations.

It is clear that internet has been closed in Armenia and they have no access to information with only official sources operating. However, official sources are misleading, they are those who committed bloodshed against their people", Mamedkhanov said.

The deputy considers that Azerbaijan must inform the world community about the provocation arranged by Armenians to distract attention of the world community and the Armenian people from internal problems.

Mamedkhanov noted that Azerbaijan would not benefit from the fire exchange, as its President is now in that area.

"The elementary human logics says that Azerbaijani armed forces would not benefit from provocations in the area where the President is.

This is impossible that Azerbaijani armed forces occupy any height in the area where the President is. This is illogic in the sense of security. The world community should understand that this is Armenia's provocation. Armenian people should also be aware of it and do not fall under influence of its leaders", Mamedkhanov said.
