Union for Democracy to cooperate with US National Democracy Institute during presidential elections in Azerbaijan

Chairman of the Azadlyg party Ahmed Orudj said an agreement according to which the Union for Democracy will cooperate with NDI.

"Parties represented in the Union for Democracy agreed to cooperate with this organization before presidential elections. We plan to implement a number of projects in NDI.

We have also discussed the detainment of opposition leaders in Salyani, when we went to the funeral of MP Sabir Rustamkhanly's mother. Several discussions were held on the situation in the country before presidential elections", he noted.

It should be reminded that the Union for Democracy is represented by Azadlyg, National -Democratic Party of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Classical Popular Front Party.
