Two political prisoners, recognized as political, released in Azerbaijan

The court decided to release two prisoners, recognized as political by human rights activists.


The due announcement was made by human rights activist Saadat Bananyarli.

Thus, the released are former member of the Special Police Force Sakhavat Gumbatov and deputy chairman of the Yeni fikir youth movement Ramin Tagiyev.

Bananyarli noted that they expect the court decision on the case of one more political prisoner.
