Armenian opposition collecting signatures for resignation of All-Armenian Catholicos Garegin the Second

Beginning from February 24 the participants of the movement led by Levon Ter-Petrosyan, were proposed to sign a document demanding resignation of All-Armenian Catholicos Garegin the Second.

The initiative to collect signatures is a response to the Catholicos' recent actions.

In particular, the protest participants are indignant about the fact that the Catholicos congratulated Serzh Sarkisyan with being elected the President of Armenia despite numerous protests and though elections were held with massive violations.
