Azerbaijani peacekeepers to be withdrawn from Kosovo

He said that Azerbaijani president appealed to the parliament. According to him, Azerbaijani peacekeepers serving in the peacekeeping contingent of Turkish Armed Forces will be withdrawn because of the political situation in Kosovo. Zahid Oruj said the issue will be considered at the meeting of the parliament’s standing commission on security and defense issues in two days.

MP said the step taken by Azerbaijan is very important.

“Azerbaijan harmonizes its military steps with its political position,” he said.
