The Party of Civil Solidarity decided to participate in presidential elections during its last session, however, no progress is observed in this issue.
Party chairman Sabir Rustamkhanly told Day.Az that such situation is caused by some subjective reasons.
"In winter I was busy with my creative activity. At the same time the situation with presidential elections in the country is still vague. Things are not clear about amendments to the Election Code. Moreover, the participation in the presidential elections requires large assets. Due to that it can be said that powers have more chances to win than opposition. Therefore, each candidate should have his own opinion on this issue", he noted,
Sabir Rustamkhanly noted that this time the assets required from each candidate for presidential elections will be twice as higher as in 2003.
