Activists of Iranian Azerbaijanis' movement sentenced to one year imprisonment

The due information was provided by Sadiq Isabeyli, chairman of the Center of Researches and Information in the Independence Party of South Azerbaijan, Day.Az reports.

According to Isabeyli, the activists are Khosrov Derakhshi, Yusif Lufthaq, Mehti Afshari, Mamedli Javadi, Javad Kenani, Gasan Asadi, Tahir Mekhtevi.

In line with the verdict, each of them are sentenced to one year imprisonment.

It should be reminded that they were found guilty of anti-Iranian propaganda and membership in the Independence Party of South Azerbaijan.
