Safar Abiyev: "Double standards of European countries regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict are inadmissible"

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense that during the meeting, the Minister congratulated the ambassador with the appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, S.Abiyev informed the Swiss ambassador about Azerbaijan's integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures, large-scale economic projects, implemented in our country, and bringing the army in compliance with the modern standards and others.

Touching upon the current situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, S.Abiyev noted that the resolution of the conflict is being protracted due to the non-constructive position of Armenia and European countries demonstrate double standards in this issue.

"Such an attitude is inadmissible and occupant must be called by his name. Azerbaijan prefers peaceful talks. But in the absence of any results, we will release our lands by any means, including by force", he said.
