King of Jordan to visit Azerbaijan

Novosti-Azerbaijan reports with reference to diplomatic sources that the visit is carried out by invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The King of Jordan will be accompanied by a governmental delegation during the visit.

It is planned to sign a number of agreements on cooperation between the two countries with drafts currently being discussed via diplomatic channels.

During the visit, the King of Jordan will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and other officials. The meeting participants will discuss bilateral relations, cooperation in the framework of international organizations, as well as prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries.

It should be noted that this is a response visit of Jordan King to Azerbaijan.

It should be reminded that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev paid an official visit to Jordan and signed about 15 bilateral agreements on cooperation on July 29-30 of 2007.

During the visit I.Aliyev met with King of Jordan Abdallah the Second and signed a number of documents.
