Mirza Sakit to be transferred to medical center of Penitentiary Service

Imprisoned reporter of Azadlyg opposition newspaper Mirza Sakit will be transferred to the medical center of the Penitentiary service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice.

The due information was provided by the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.

According to M.Sakit Rena Zahidova, she had a telephone conversation with Arshad Gasanov, chief of correctional ward No 14.

"During the conversation he said that M.Sakit will be transferred to the medical center of the Penitentiary service", R.Zahidova said.

It should be reminded that the reporter is kept in correctional ward No 14.
