President of Azerbaijan invited to NATO summit in Bucharest

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has been invited to NATO summit to be held in Bucharest on April 2-4, Damien Arnaud, NATO Media Coordinator says.

He noted that they invited the heads of partner countries, as well as the Azerbaijani President to the summit.

The summit will be held in the Palace of the Romanian Parliament.

It will be presided by NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and Romanian President Traian Basescu.
